Aleksandra Krawczyk, MSc

Aleksandra Maria Krawczyk

Coming from the cross-border region of Strasbourg (DE/FR), with a Polish family background, I pursued interdisciplinary studies in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Poland (2007-2012), graduating as Master of Science in Communication and Economics, major in Marketing at the University of Lugano, Switzerland.

During my academic path, I gathered insights about different aspects of communication, ranging from integrated marketing campaigns, digital communities, up to political public relations, institutional crisis communication and others. My professional experience is linked to the development of successful communication strategies and implementation of marketing methods in various industries (automotive, tourism, pharma, consumer goods), up to sustainable development aid in the NGO sector. Having worked for leading advertising agencies and multinational corporations, I decided to return to my passion for scientific research. Currently, I am enrolled at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and engaged in the Nature Protection, Wildlife Management and Environmental Education Research Team of Prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Grodzińska-Jurczak at the Institute of Environmental Sciences.

My research addresses the areas of Environmental Science Communication and Popularization, Environmental Attitudes and Behaviors, Circular Economy of Plastics, Zero waste, Public Health.

Currently, I am focusing on sociopsychological and behavioral aspects of the European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy.
